- SUMMARY:”The Selfsame is the brainchild of Pete Moses, former singer of of the luminary colorado post rock band The Fifth Utility. Reborn in Brookly, Moses’ The Selfsame is a solo project on a most unusually epic scale. The music draws its strength from the tension between it’s stark organic elements (guitar, piano, & voice) & its hyperbolical, frenetic synthetic, computer generated drum, & bass parts. on stage as well as on the soon-to-be-released debut album ‘in the neat handwriting of the illiterate’, all of the madness, the entire wall of crumbling sound, emanates from just one man & his toys… all while a mesmerizing onslaught of stroboscopic, synchronized light & images are painted across the canvas.”

- SUMMARY:”Art made with Blood explores corporeality
Eagles combines blood, acrylics, resin, metallic powders, and cheesecloth into strikingly beautiful forms, hues and textures that Eagles believes reveal the unitary nature of the body-sprit connection. His work has been described as “luminous and magnifying” (New York Times), “brilliant, light-refracting art” (Philadelphia Weekly) and “elegant multimedia alters” (SF Weekly). He has exhibited most recently at Urbis Artium Gallery in San Francisco and BLK/MRKT Gallery in Los Angeles. Somewhat notorious for his use of blood, his work was banned from New Jersey’s annual “Art at Overlook” exhibition in 2003. On view at Sensei will be Eagles’ newest work from Summer 2006.”

Artists, Chris Uphues, Jason Robert Bell and Arthur Jones try to plug the hole in the meniscus of our communal consciousness with shit stained garbage they found on the street, evocations of paradise lost and 70’s rock stars butt fucking. The show is modestly titled: “Welcome to the Masters.”
Chris Uphues, Arthur Jones, and Jason Robert Bell will create a multi media site specific environment…
In support of the Secret Project Robot mission statement we’ve given the artists for this show carte blanche on how to deal with the space, fully engaging them in an experiment to see just what happens to the creative process in a realxed supportive environment while also deconstructing the preconceived and antiquated notion of “gallery” and “curator” “
