- SUMMARY:”A shallow vortex? A drop of day-glo mercury in the cosmic bucket? Who goes there? Artists, Chris Uphues, Jason Robert Bell and Arthur Jones try to plug the hole in the meniscus of our communal consciousness with shit stained garbage they found on the street, evocations of paradise lost and 70’s rock stars butt fucking. The show is modestly titled: “Welcome to the Masters.”
Chris Uphues, Arthur Jones, and Jason Robert Bell will create a multi media site specific environment…
In support of the Secret Project Robot mission statement we’ve given the artists for this show carte blanche on how to deal with the space, fully engaging them in an experiment to see just what happens to the creative process in a realxed supportive environment while also deconstructing the preconceived and antiquated notion of “gallery” and “curator” ”
