• SUMMARY:”Ted Riederer’s video, sculpture, and paintings revolve around three acts: the smashing of musical instruments, the painstaking task of weighing, cataloging and re-assembling the fragments so that the instruments can be played again, and the creation of a musical score using the resurrected guitars and drums. The band The Resurrectionists is comprised of musicians who are recovering punk rockers and who have performed with: Burn, Immolation, Slaughtershack, Clowns For Progress, Ryan Adams, Thumper, The Reply, Steady Earnest, The New You and Go Away Evil.”
