SUMMARY:”t’s that time again. Here’s our monthly New York City edition of the audience interactive Buffy Sing-a-Long, which takes the Slayer’s musical episode that you all know and love and adds dancing with dry cleaning, evil bunnies, a theatre filled sexy sexy smoke, and YOU singing like a crazy person! Plus before the show we have an all new round of Jeopardy-style interactive trivia (see if you know more than Giles) and a round of “you ARE the show” Buffy-oke. Play along and you can win our Sing-a-Long Party kit, to throw your own at-home version of the show, or one of our lovely new Buffy lapel pins (also on sale at the show), a sure way for you to tell everyone you meet on the street, “Hey, I died twice!”.

It was the heyday of the Pinchbottom Motion Picture Company, the years when the studio produced their best-known work: the madcap black and white comedies featuring the antics of the vaudevillian troupe THE PINCH BROTHERS (also sisters). The last of these films, entitled “THE BAWDY HOUSE”, was so salacious for its time that some consider it singlehandedly responsible for the institution of the Motion Picture Production Code.”

The Main Squeeze Orchestra consists of 12 female accordionists conducted by local accordion magnate Walter Kuhr, playing arrangements of everything from Bach, Madonna, and The Kinks to Kurt Weill, The Beatles, and Queen. Thus begins their monthly residence at Mo’s. Think of it as a leap inside your favorite music box and don’t look back.”

SUMMARY: “With the culinary talents of Rich Green, and covering a spectrum of art from abstract to graffiti, it will be nothing short of alluring.

There will be over a dozen fresh artists displaying their work, and Victor Vazquez will be illustrating the Book of Revelations. There will be some curious entertainment in store including an erotic fiction reading by Go-Go dancer and writer Karen Moulding. There will also be a short documentary about growing up in New York City and a performance by Rock and Roll, Rhythm and Blues band Jim Indell and the Indellibles featuring legendary drummer Billy Mare.”

SUMMARY:”Hart’s work revolves around the antics of an alter ego - a mischievous and irreverent young girl whose curiosity is currently focused on the concerns of the quintessential sportsman. In each of her pieces, the hunt is devised and the traps are set. Yet while the girl is cunning and fancies herself uniquely dedicated to her pursuits, her best-laid plans are often thwarted. The sculptures reveal a bizarre fantasy world where the sweet stereotype of a little girl is tempered by a wild and roguish imagination.”
